Mayhem after the election?

I was listening to the news today about the seating of the new OJ jury in NV. Remembering how I felt about the last time He was let off and the different reactions from other members of society. Then you take reactions from people during the Rodney King issue,or even winning the big championship game. Thinking back on the last two presidential elections how it was "stolen" and the other was "swift-boated". Emotions and anger ran high. IF Obama loses this November do you think there will be a certain segment of society in some areas that will feel so cheated and disenfranchised they might take to the streets? Should we take precautions? I for one wont be scheduleding any work in down town areas the day after the vote. I think certain people regardless of truth are looking for an excuse to riot, I can still remember the truck driver video during the LA mayhem, only if that poor soul was armed. If I lived in an urban environment I wouldn't want to be unprepared. Just thinking

I am not sure about riots, but last election there were a bunch of celebrities that vowed they would move to England or Canada or Venezuela or some such place if George Bush won. I am still waiting for them to move.

To answer your question, as emotionally charged as I've seen some people... in particular Obama supporters and even our Governor (in a Republican state) ..... hate to say it , but look how fanatical some have been......

I am not worried about any serious events after the election in November. The incidents in LA were isolated for the most part, and if the driver of the truck would have stayed in this vehicle he would not have been beated with a brick. I bet he will never leave his vehicle if that type of thing happens again around him.

If all hell breaks loose, I am ready, but that ain't going to happen.

In a way, I hope it does happen. I think it would bring to the surface all that is twisted in peoples minds and bring a lot of issues to the surface that we love to keep swept under the rug.

Do I think it will happen? No, with the exception of a few pockets of stupidity.

I actually think that the folks that will probably spazz out the most will be the ultra-radical environmentalist types. Seriously I do.
They are already nearly boiling.

Nobody can predict the future though. All we can do is try to prepare in general for any future, possible eventualities.
