After losing 140 lbs in less than a year, boot camp should be a piece of cake. Oops, make that easy!

I wouldn't go so far as to say that, I have heard stories of Paris Island and it makes me glad I joined the Army

This man is on a mission. He has definite goals and knows how to stick to them.
He's going to make a great soldier.

    Paris Island
    That's Parris Island.

Paris is in France and Texas.

He's going to make a great soldier.

+1 Captain. And he will make a great Marine with that kind of determination, IMO. He'll probably lose another 20 to 30 lbs, maybe more, in boot camp. I lost about 20 to 25 lbs in boot camp, from 175 to 150 to 155.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt

Good on the Marine Corps recruiter for helping this guy out.

I took Basic Training as a member of the Alabama Army National Guard at Ft. Dix in '76, and I weighed 280 when I got there. After the Drill SGT imposed "don't eat nuthin' but dry salad and water" diet, I weighed 190 when I graduated...

...and have been plagued by health problems ever since I was medically discharged in '85 for diabetes, including recently joing the BKA club...

You have to be careful when you attempt to lose massive amounts of weight...
