I don't think I trust this guy's word any more than I'd trust Sadam's. He's here in the US, he's written a book, and saying there was nothing sure won't sell books!
What kind of WMDs is he claiming? I do believe Sadam had War Gases, he proved that. Past that I wonder how much progress he had really made on the other stuff.
I wonder if we will ever know the whole truth?

No suprise there...
They had several months notice.
Saddam wasnt the sharpest knife in the box but he took advantage of the prior notice. He played the U.N. like a fiddle and got away with it.
Its a pity that our outspoken liberals in the news media and the other sheeple werent smart enough to figure it out cause it aint rocket surgery we are dealing with here. Its akin to telling a drug dealer that you are gonna search his house two months from now at Thursday morning at 9 PM.
Only a fool would expect to find anything there...

True or not - this can still stay as a ''maybe''. One of those things probably for ever surrounded by conjecture.
On balance I would believe it more than disbelieve.

A truck I might believe, but wasn't Iraq still a no fly zone? Seems like there would have been scutiny of any aircraft leaving Iraq.

Let's see, we all know he had Chemical weapons, used them during his war with Iran, and on the Kurds AFTER the first gulf war. Sadly, nukes only require 1940's technology, the fissile material (uranium or plutonium) and the knowlege any 3rd year nuclear engineering student has (there were a LOT of foreign students when I went to college). There were reports in our liberal press after we invaded about drums of high level radioactive waste being used to store water making people sick with radiation sickness. You can't have high level waste without either a bomb program or a reactor. Bio weapons can be destroyed with bleach. I don't think EVERY intelligence agency in the world could be wrong about Saddam posessing WMD's.
If I had months to plan and execute moving or hiding something in an area the size of California and the resources of a nation-state, I think I could do it.
