    Hmmm

Never cared to much for the paramilitary law enforcement trotted out for public display in non-emergency non-crisis situations. Sort of reminds me of the S.A. using intimidation and thug tactics. Having seen this; now, I dislike the paramilitary police effect even more.

Nice camera work regardless of the subject

Agreed bbqgrill. Good pics Tyler, and I love those guys and respect what they do... Wouldn't mind getting into something similar myself after the army. But it is rather reminiscent of certain things.

Easy target identification. If anyone was wearing the proper attire and carrying a weapon they would be the bad guy!

Am I the only one who thinks the different uniforms make them look less... professional? I think the guys in the last pic look better suited to their duties than camo-guys. They're playing security, so appearance actually matters.

Nice pics. The troops look well supplied with gear.

I'm sure our adversaries were interested in our security measures.

Tyler...did you take the photos? If so, very nice shots.

Curious...did they ID themselves as SA's with the HRT? If not, maybe they were "regular" FBI-SWAT agents?

Nice pics. I saw a program this morning "Inside the Secret Service". Pretty interesting. Lots more than just guarding the President.

I'm glad I was sent elsewhere for todays events. DC looks like a zoo.

Oh yeah, to the guys who are bent out of shape about what they are wearing... what do you want them to wear?
