Do you know anyone who can record it for you?

Won't be back from Iraq for a few more days, so I'll miss it. I'll have to get someone to DVR it for me. Looks really good.

I saw his interview on The Tonight Show, it sounded cool. After watching the trailer I don't know if I can watch it, my TV might get all blurry.
This is certainly, the actual event and not the movie, one way I envy the Corps over my Army.

While stationed at Dover in the mid 70's I escorted several Airmen home on their final trip. Back then the military did not receive the same level of respect they do now. Those escorts will always be a part of me, no one who has ever done one is not touched in a special way. You have returned a brother to his family and you leave a small piece of yourself when you depart. To all my fallen brothers, whatever branch you served in, R.I.P. and may your God watch over you.

I am a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. If you are not familiar with this organization they have a pretty good web site you can check out. I will not go into details here, but one thing we do is provide an escort for our Veterans that come home after they have made the largest sacrifice they could have possibly made for us. It is always a sobering experience for everyone involved. We do many other things for Veterans and their families that I will not mention here, but as I stated above...check out the site. Many of our projects involve good times too. We can always use more members and you do not have to ride a motorcycle to become involved.

I'm still in Iraq too, so I'll miss it, but I'm gonna find a copy back when I'm stateside somehow.
As far as Patriot Guard Riders, they did a great job for one of my friends, I think they are an awesome organization.

I read this and it brought back some memories for me. I use to be on a honor guard out of Fort Worth back in the begining of the war and I know how he feels. We did funeral for all Marines most of the time it was a little easier to do the honors for a Marine that was 70 then a Marine that was 18 or 19. But it was still hard to stay professional with you just wanted to break down cause you knew you lost a brother or sister at arms. I thank the guys and gals on the honor guard every time i see them it is a lot harder to do honors for a Marine (or any service member)that dies at war then being the one being shot at.

Taping
I do not get HBO. Is there someone on this forum that could tape it for me. I will gladly pay for the tape, the postage and your time for a copy of this. My son was in the Marine Corps for 8 years and I have a son in the Army who just completed his 3rd tour of Iraq. Add this to my signature and you can see why I was almost in tears reading the article and was tearing at just watching the trailer.
Thank you for all the escorts and all who have and are serving.
