Nice. I like. Are you going to produce them for others and at what price?

Nice work, looks like it will stop a BG right in his tracks.

Yeah, I would really like to know if you are going to start selling those and for how much. That is really nice.

Yes I plan on selling them, but there is a small problem I need to figure out. With guns and knives, I either have the real thing or blue guns to use to mold my products. Badges are a little harder to come by and most guys cannot send me their badge or have an extra they can part with for about a week for me to make and ship the holder.

Right now I am working on maybe getting some blanks from a badge maker, or doing them from tracing or cardboard cutouts. Of course if anyone can send me a badge, it is a done deal. I am offering them for $25 bucks +shipping once I get the kinks worked out.

Anyone that can send me a badge(CCW or otherwise), just let me know. I really appreciate the feedback guys, thanks and be safe.

Looks like a really nice idea. I would think a cut out might work best, as some depts have some odd shapes to their badges. Ohterwise a circle or shield should work once you get a cut out or tracing.

    Also Note:

LEO Wallet badges are usually flat with a clip back.

LEO Breast badges are curved with a pin back.

You might be able to work out a contract deal with one of the custom LEO badge makers and they could furnish you with their blanks.
    Wouldn't that be nice?

I have several badges from the agency that employs me, task forces and the state and county tac teams I'm a member of. I have round ones, stars, sheilds and actual badges, but I dont think I'd send any of them off to you. No offense to you, but I can myself in a world of hurt should something go wrong sending off a badge. But your work does look nice, and I wouldnt mind trying one out.
I'd look for another way, such as having your customer trace the shape out and sending that.

Yeah that is my point, your ass would be in a sling if god forbid, somehow the USPS lost something....lol. I wouldn't send my badge in the mail, so I understand that, hence my problem. What I will probably start doing is building a small collection of the most common styles of badges and go from there. Thx.

John, and you thought you were going broke buying just guns and knives for molds.

Thats right, I am the first kid on my block to have one of these babies, the prototype as a matter of fact. Great use for the Spyderco G- Clip. Well done bro- George
