Active Duty and Military Retirees Gaston has a deal for you

I just found that Gaston Glock has a deal for us. Limited to two. I am getting a G-19 for around $400 bucks. Now I'm happy I served. (I don't mind the PX, Comissary, and Tri-Care for life either)

Not a Glock fan here. I agree the benefits of being retired military is nice, as long as we have them. I figure at some point they will attempt to take those away, as a way to reduce the budget!

That's the deal Glock offers through LE dealers. In addition to active and retired military, it's offered to first responders (LE, FF, EMT), Federal Flight Deck Officers, and a couple of other categories. You can call Glock's Smyrna GA HQ to find an LE FFL near you.

Taking the PX/commissary away was discussed way back in the 60s and many times since, Id bet.

Yes it was discussed the whole time I was in the military, and since I retired in 94. Remember they screwed over retiree's once already with medical benefits when they came up with Tri Care. What was suppose to be free medical for life went out the window. I won't put anything past them.

    rmarkob,

Do you have anything that spells out the info regarding FF's and EMT's?

Ask and you shall receive, I posted this awhile back when I got the letter from one of the gun stores that I visit. take a look at the original post and I think this is what your looking for. here is the link http://good-deal-thought-i-would-pass-along.html
Give me my guns and my right to keep and bear arms, and they can keep their change.

If you are not into Glock you may want to check other manufactures. I know SIG has "up to" $100 discounts for LE and Military (active and retired).

Can't really answer your question directly, but you should be able to call Glock or Sig Arms either one and find out if a disabled vet is qualified.
