    I am taking the family to San Diego in May, Rosecrans was a stop I intended to make to show the kids.

    I may have to go salute this SEAL in person!

    Since we home school I may make this a lesson i patriotism. I'll let the older kids read the story, then watch the CMH ceremony and then show them his grave.

    My son in law, also a petty officer took us to Fort Rosecrans cemetery last year and it is a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. A fitting place of rest for an American Hero that served in the U.S. Navy.
