I see a lot of posts thanking our armed forces members for their service. However, I don't believe that I've ever seen one thanking our LEOs for their service. So, I'd like to say thank you to people like SIXTO, Black Knight and all of the rest, whether they are members on this board or not. They spend many long and often thankless hours keeping us safe. Thanks guys.

Thank you for the comment but allow me to clarify my position. I have not served in the Army or any branch of the armed forces. I am a civilian Police Officer for the Department of the Army Police. We were formerly know as the Department of Defense Police but this was changed around 2002 by some Washington bureaucrat.
Thanks for the support! I work for a quite large PD in SE Texas. My user name is not quite anonymous enough for me to say exactly which one; I need a bit of plausible deniability.
Indeed a thank you to all who serve. Its a thankless job so we thank you.

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
I would like to extend a big thank you to all the Law Enforcement Officers on this board and others for your service to your City, County, State or Governmental Entity that you work for. Your dedication and duty are much appreciated by me.

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.
Thank you for your service.
