Thanks, JNC for reminding us that Memorial day is not about the BBQ ...

Our thanks to all those who put their lives on the line so that we can live ours safely !!!

I'm of the opinion most folks pay their taxes and everyone in the military volunteers although not necessarily for what they get themselves in to. I like to think the military is a better return on the taxpayer dollar than any other entity run by the gov't...wishful thinking at times but I sleep well for the most part at night. My hats off to those who aren't with their loved ones this day and that they may be reunited safe and sound soon.

Thank you all, as a citizen and as a vet.

It is the soldier, sailor, airman and marine that has signed on the dotted line knowing that they may have to pay the ultimate sacrifice for us and all that we enjoy.

It is to all of them and their fallen Brothers and Sisters that I lift my glass and say a prayer.

    Thank You
