Since she is the mayor doesn't she have the authority to find another insurance company, or appoint somebody to do so? She should get quotes from several companies just to make sure the current one isn't hosing them.

Just another example of a politician making policy on something they have no clue about and no good will come from it.
That seems to be happening a lot since January. It seems that many politicians have aquired an epidemic disease of stupidity and it started back in January.
There seems to be no cure.
I want to have a job where the is no accountability,a job where I can do as I dang well please and make my own laws and act like a KING. I want to be on the Supreme Court.

As each felon exits prison...it straight to "PayLess Shoes" (the running shoes section), and then to the gun runner...yep, all set.

Somebody should tell her that law enforcement is a non profit enterprise. If she can't deal with that concept, quit!

So if I rob the local bank, all I have to do is run from the scene and I'm home free. Nice to know.

I'm just one root in a grassroots organization. No one should assume that I speak for the VCDL.
I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

I like the policy.... She didn't say you couldn't shoot'em. Just don't "chase" them. No need ot chase after someone on the ground. Just walk over casually to observe the situation. Should give ample time to delay and ensure they are dead... no more crime and will save lots of court dollars. Of course unemployment will rise, no courts, no lawyers, no judges, clerks out of jobs... new crisis!
