Navy Drill Team.....what a video !
Our US Navy Ceremonial Guard Silent Drill Team was invited to compete in Norway in May of 2009. The Navy competed against military units from all over NATO and won first place. After watching this video, it's clear why they won. Sound on.

I believe the Navy Drill Team uses the M1903 Springfield with an 18" chrome bayonet. The 1903 was a well balanced rifle, better than the successor, the M1 Garand. Cool vid ... <hand salute>

I am trying hard to think of something suitable to say.
All I can do right now is sit and stare.
That was impressive, all right!

I never get tired of watching that or any other drill team video.
Having been on an ROTC drill team (I know no where near the skill as these men) I keep wondering how many times that Lt. got nailed.

Very Very Impressive. I was in the Navy for 8 years and never knew they had a competitive drill team. When did they start that?
