    True,but had people been armed at the shooting location,there would of been a faster armed response with very likely a lot less killed and wounded victims

    Yes it was.

    Also I thank you for the site. Her actions, IMHO, going from traffic control ( on foot) to responding like this. IMPRESSIVE.

    My first year on the streets I was assigned a female partner to work the transport wagon on the weekends. Imagine my displeasure. I was nice to my "new" partner but I didn't want to work with her but my attitude soon changed when we had to deal with a subject that didn't want to cooperate with us. I confronted the subject and he decided to attack me. I managed to block his strike and got a hold of his arm. My partner on the other hand managed to apply several strikes and took the subject down to the ground (where I lost my grasp of his arm) and was halfway done cuffing the subject. My respect for female officers... We worked together for about another 3 years and had a great time. I learned alot from my partner and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to work with a female partner

    Sgt. Munley you did a fantastic job! Thank you for your courage and rapid response to end the threat!!

    This is just where I was {on the net}

    heres a quote from the article by a General,

    General Cone said that Ms Munley’s actions demonstated that an aggressive response to a mass-shooting can save lives. “She walked up and engaged him,” he said.

    I guess the old saying, "sometimes the fool who rushes in, gets the job done" applies here!

    Thank God for her, and those like her who are not afraid

    P.S. Hey ramrod, Where'd you get the Pic of my next wife?? JK!!
