    You've got to know that by the time the door opens for the jump, those guys are exhausted. Probably up 6-8 hours or more before takeoff, a long flight with a very full day once the door opens...unbelievable

    Like has been said, that's the inside of a C-17. It's too wide and bright inside to be a C-141 and not wide enough for a C-5... C-130's would have the troops touching knee to knee...

    C-141's have all been retired and sent to the boneyard... there may be a couple still hanging around flying but they are few and far between nowadays... they're all past their useful service life because shuttling equipment back and forth to and from Vietnam put a serious hurting on their airframes... the same thing's being done to the C-5's and C-17's with Iraq and Afghanistan... all in the course of a day.
