    Amazing Shot Cited as Self Defense

    Here is a link to a story where Police officers in Seattle fired at a subject and one of the officer's bullets hit the perp's gun and lodged in the cylinder. Obviously no doubt as to where he was pointing the weapon.

    Actually, I have heard somewhere that it is fairly common for the weapon in the hand of someone to be hit from the other guy's bullet. Something about the mind seeing the gun as the threat and subconciously becoming the aimpoint. That is a pretty interesting shot....

    I am glad the police there could hit what they were aiming at. I work with some officers that only remove their weapon when they need to qualify. They never clean it, shoot it or even look at it unless required to do so. Hell of a system.
