The wife got me to thinking there was a scene in the movie Flashdance when Jennifer Beals and the other woman were crossing the street and there was a cop doing crazy things directing traffic I wonder if that is the same guy.

Anybody who has directed traffic for any length of time, knows its a grueling and dangerous task. My hats off to him keeping it interesting. I'm sure if he wasn't getting the job done, he wouldn't be dancing anymore.

And, with a sweet cop stache like that he could pull anything off.

He's able to keep alert, highly visable, great public PR, and exercises all at the same time. I think if it works for him keep on doing it.

I remember a much older gent in the 70s and 80s who was famous for the same thing. I think he was on TV a lot when I was a kid growing up. This guy probably got the idea from him. The older guy did lots of fancy hand moves but not the jumping around stuff.

I like it... but he looks suspiciously like this guy...

Very Cool and it gets people to pay attention, follow directions and not get pissed off. Very cool.

I loved it. The Kenosha, WI. Police also did a great job when they did the twelve days of Christmas.

Good for the officer. If it was a problem he would not be doing it after 20 years.
