Hey Ron, got it, love it, ordering another since my buddy just stole it!
I just paid for another on PayPal....thanks and a quick question...my buddy was asking what size bullet is it, what grain? I Googled it and the 50 comes in many sizes so I have no idea.
It's a 647 grain Armor Piercing Incendiary (API) bullet. It's got a steelcore with a powder surrounding it that when it hits something hard at about2800 FPS and that ignites the flash powder. All that is wrapped in a copperjacket. It is however very safe unless you take a cutting torch to it. Even then it only would go poof and as long asyou had safety glasses you wouldn’t get damaged. I’ve cut them open with a Dremel tool and aslong as your careful it’s possible to do without catching it on fire. It’s not like a Rafoos round that has RDX init. I purchase these bullets 600 at atime in an ammo can that weighs 62 lbs. It makes the 50 BMG loads inexpensive enough to enjoy shooting. I just can’t compete with that bullet. I also have to be careful now that it’s sodry. I don’t want to take a chance andcatch my property on fire. When I polish up the bottle openers the silver tip gets messed up so I repaint it to look good.
Thank you for the kudos.

That is awesome information Ron.....My buddy was cracking up when reading it, and will make sure his wife doesnt use it as a hammer! Too funny.
Thanks again for the information and the wonderful nifty product.
Speaking of using it as a hammer. There was a picture going around where some GI used a live round as a hammer to clear a jam on a M2 and he accidently smacked the primer. His hand looked like there had been a granade gone off in it. Very messed up. With about 225 grains of powder in that case I can undtand ho it could mess your hand up. The only problem I had was that I figured it would burn you badly but this looked like it blew up in his hand. It must have been crimped pretty hard.
Ordered two last Thursday evening late and got them in the mail today (Monday)! They look great. Thanks Ron!!!
I'm glad you like them Sam, Take care.
Ron
Hey Ron,
I just put two of my ex-military students onto this little treasure. We are in Xi'an China right now but they live in Oregon. I gave them your e-mail address. Expect to hear from them once they get back. They loved this idea and want them.

Are you still making these?
If so I'll take two more.
Yes, if they're still on the market I'll take one more. Thanks.
Money sent for two more. Thanks again Ron!!
