WTS: Ruger SP101 .357 Magnum 2.25 Stainless Steel (Alabama)

I live in southeast Alabama and will ship legally. I have not participated for long on the forums, so if you want to know more about me... I own a fairly popular home theater forum, Home Theater Shack (same username). You can check out our rules there, which should give you an idea of what kind of person I am (I wrote the rules). I am pretty much a no nonsense type of guy... and I would like to believe I am as honest as they come.

Ruger .357 Magnum 2.25 Stainless Steel. It is perhaps 20 years old. I don't remember exactly when I purchased it and not sure how to tell. It may be that I can call Ruger with the serial number and they could tell me when it was built... if we need to find out the exact date. I have shot maybe 25 rounds through this gun. It has been a cased closet gun since I got it. I am not sure how to grade guns, but despite it not being used much, it ain't cosmetically perfect in my opinion, however you may think it looks fine to be its age. I shot it just yesterday and it is mechanically fine. I want a revolver and would like one similar to this, but maybe a stainless with 4" barrel. You get everything with the case below. I really don't know what to price it at, but will start at $425 + shipping and consider a reasonable offer.

not to be a jerk but 1 can buy a brand new one for the same price or cheaper if I cruise gunbroker for a used one they range $300 -$350 .......anyways with that said , my wife wants a sp101 and I want to know your best price btw is this a high gloss stainless or brushed ??? it looks like high gloss but could just be the pic .

As I stated... I was not sure what to price it at, but needed a starting point. I will consider a reasonable offer... but not $300, so if you can get one for that price, it will be better than I can do.

It is gloss/polished stainless steel... not brushed.

That gun looks to be in excellent condition and with the box and original Ruger manual and the high polish finish it would sell in my area of Florida for $400 all day long.
