When I left the .380 crowd last year and went to 9mm for all my pistols, I did a bucket of research. Even bought and sold a couple of the single stack "favorites" to try them out. Yeah, I'm that OCD. I also surfed the boards for "everyone's" reviews of different guns. The PPS kept coming out on top. Yes, there were others that were close but the price and the thinness of the PPS made me buy one. My layman's two cents:
It was dead on accurate out of the box.
So far, not one FTF.
Makes a very nice conceal carry.
IMHO, the grip is large enough for big hands. Also has two back straps.
Two cons:
1. Won't fit any of my holsters and I have a bucket of holsters. Had to buy an OWB and IWB to fit.
2. Because the grip is so thin, which I like, your hand will be somewhat tender after you run three or four mags through it. I.e. you need to decide, if you make this your EDC, that you are ok with that because, obviously, you will spend a considerable amount of range time improving your groups and getting used to it.
I like mine, and I can be somewhat of a snob when it comes to firearms.
Oh, last thing, that is a KILLER DEAL when you throw in the two quality holsters, two mags and Obamamania. Heck, where were you last summer!?
ps. I will be surprised if this gun makes it through the weekend before it's sold.
Pardon me while I go dig a hole and bury myself. :embarassed:
