Looking for an old vest, old Kevlar panel, steel plate or trauma plate. Does not have to be good enough to trust your life to. Only for experimental purpose. Need one bigger than the 5 or 6 inch front vest pocket plates.

steel plate? what thickness, 1/4"? i would think you could find that in the scrap bin at any steel fab place.

If this is for the purpose of shooting them, try BulletProofME.com Body Armor / Bullet proof Vests
they sell old vests that aren't fit as armor anymore for just this purpose.
They also sell the body armor I bought and use for concealed wear. The level II goldflex armor with trauma plate pockets.
