For Sale: Gemini Customs Ruger SP101
This revolver has had less than 100 rounds fired through it. I bought a NIB Ruger SP101 in double-action-only, and immediately shipped to Marc at Gemini for some custom work. This thing is a gem, accurate and smooth. Selling to finance a 1911 project.
Work is as follows:
Complete action tuning ( 10# DAO)
Chamfer cylinder throats
Recontour and mirror polish trigger
Bob/remove hammer cockspur & mirror polish hammer (DAO)
Smooth & dehorn for carry
Eliminate cylinder endshake
Replace springs as needed
Polish plungers and pins
Throat Barrel @ 5 degrees
Finish ream and hone cylinder chambers
Electro chemical etch Gemini Customs logo
test Fire for Function
#170-325 Superfine matte glass bead blast entire revolver
install gold bead front sight
This revolver has NO porting done to it.

Not to dissuade you, but he's right. That is nice revolver and you have put a lot of money into it. Maybe save your pennies for the 1911, just a thought. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
$1000 will buy a nice 1911 but in my opinion it won't be a nice custom like that revolver!
Not to pile on too much. But a custom 1911 is nice and not a dime a dozen. But, a Gemini customized SP101 is in a class of its own.
You will miss it. I'd bite if I had the funds.

Nice revolver. You've neglected to say what cartridge it is chambered for.
Who made the grips and do you have the box, original grips and paperwork?

So it does-I missed that, thanks.
I think it would be a mistake to sell it.
All who are encouraging me to keep it.....BUY it from me!!
I just bought a Dan Wesson CCO, one of my dream guns, and sadly....the Ruger is the only firearm I own that will bring in this kind of money for me.
I have enough snubs on hand, and I find myself babying the Ruger because it is too nice.
NOW someone please buy this!!
