Next question: I have a friend down here in Florida who lives on base for his first assignment. He left his guns at home (a couple handguns and a rifle) back in Massachusetts since he did not know the policy about possessing guns on base. We're actually allowed to keep them in our homes so he wants them down here now. Since they are HIS WEAPONS, can he have his family ship them to him here in Florida without having to do an FFL transfer in every single one?

Hey everyone, quick question. I live in AZ and as you know you dont need to register a hand gun or have a permit. When doing a trade to someone else, what type of records should I keep? Is there some type of form the state use's for when a gun is traded?

It is up to you. I traded a computer monitor for a shotgun, no paperwork at all. I then a few months later sold the shotgun, no paperwork.
I later traded one handgun for another, no paperwork required, but I put the serial numbers and drivers license on a piece of paper and we both signed it. Did that for my own records. CYA.
