"WTS/WTT" 1911 (tx)
Repost...
I am selling a Norinco 1911 I bought about 10 years ago from a local gun show. I have added wood grips and stainless guide rod and grip screws. It is very tight, very clean, no rust, well taken care of, shoots extremely well. Comes with 2 Mags
I am asking $450 +shipping. I will throw in a new box of .45 ball for $15 more.
I would be willing to talk trades...I am looking for a conceal pistol/revolver but am willing to consider anything...private message me for those discussions on any offers you may have.

Very nice pistol for anyone wanting to build a custom carry piece. I did one myself when these hit the market. The price is a steal actually. I know it won't help, but if I had the money, I'd buy it even if the truck needs new tires soon. Mine was a good shooter right out of the box. And don't forget.....Wilson's Combat WILL build off these frames last I knew.

Agreed, on all points.
I jumped on this pistol on the original post, I had to back out do to a work related injury. I'm amazed this pistol is still for sale, and it kills me every time I view it. To bad 1911forum.com doesn't allow firearms sales, it would be gone in a day on that site.
I'll also add that Norinco's are damn fine shooters stock. This pistol, if it functions like 99.9% of it's brothers would be a great carry pistol if you can live with the GI controls (I can, and would if possible).

One happy buyer!!!
I'm new to the scene here and yes...I've been looking for this particular gun. It's going to get one more mod soon. I intend on giving it a 460 Rowland conversion. This particular 1911 is recommended for this conversion...the idea of a 230 grain bullet traveling at 1300fps may be overkill, but it's my desire. Said to be more powerful than a 44 mag. Next will be hard chrome and ivory grips. Thanx Nighthawk for making a dream a reality-I'll take good care of it.
