    WTB Ruger SP101 or GP100

Hey I am looking for either a SP101 or a GP100 in either a 3 or 4 in barrel. I want to spend around 400, if anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it. I figure that more than one pair of eyes looking out would be nice.

    Thanks

I have seen most of those, maybe something will pop up. My thing is there is a gun store here where I can get a new one for 500, so if I buy one off of gunbroker after I pay the shipping and FFL it will be about 500. I was wanted to spend at most 450 shipped and FFL. I dont know maybe I am asking too much??

check out the ffl list on gunbroker, many are only about $15-20 for a transfer (at least the ones in MO)

There is a GP100 on The High Road in Texas

I have no association with this seller.

    THR

Ruger GP 100, 4 in barrel, blued.
    .357 mag and 38 spcl.
    Original box.
    Probably around 200 rounds.
I have added Hogue grips, and have the original rosewood insert grips as well. I also added a fiber optic front sight.
I'll include a nice leather OWB holster for it.
Priced to sell at $400, plus shipping, for the entire package. Now $380.

Good luck in that price range. I have been looking for a GP-100 for months, and all the auctions get priced out of that range. If I could have found a new one for $500, I'd've jumped on it, but they were going for over *six*-hundred around here.

I finally got one for under four bills, but without an adjustable rear sight, and it was over $400 by the time I got it shipped and transferred, more like $450.

Maybe you can get an SP delivered for your price range, but I'd be very surprised if you get the GP. You might want to look at local classifieds, instead.

A gun store near my house had a nice used 4 inch stainless for $350. I looked at it on Saturday and returned to buy it on Sunday. Unfortunately, it was gone. He had a few hamerless in fair condition for $310.

The triggers seem so much smoother on the 100's. I have dry fired several, and they all seemed nice to me. My brother has a 6 inch stainless.

This would be a nice range and home defense gun. Gander Mountain had a new one for about $550. There was something wrong with the blued finish.
