Just in from a trip to some family.
I dont have a round count on the gun.
I know it is clean. Shows to be well maintained. Pretty evident the galco IWB was the carry holster.
Guy was laid off & had to sell it. He had a Texas CHL. I do to.

oooops forgot to address the night sights. They are bright

    longtooth,

the shape of the frame and two 10 round magazines make me think it is an older gun (made during the AWB). It does look like it was carried quite a bit. Also, I wasn't so hot on a DA/SA. Because of those two things, I don't think I could go more than $200 cash plus the XD. I definitely would like to take a look in person and strip the gun before accepting the trade (as I'm sure you would too).

It looks like we can confirm the age of the gun by the proof marks - WikiAnswers - What is the value of a Sig Sauer P220.

    So- what do you think?

No problem. I understand. If it was SAO or DAK, I'd be all over it.

The XD is still up for trade! Any other takers?

Well, I haven't found anything random to my liking, so here is a list of guns on my 'want list':

    In order of preference:
    1. HK USPc, preferably in .40 though 9MM will work. (Must have a safety)
    2. Sig Sauer P229 Either sAO or DAK
    3. Kel Tec Sub2000, preferably in 9MM though .40 will work.
    4. GLOCK 19

My XD .45 needs a better home!

Now here's something interesting... How about a Chinese SKS 7.62x39 vintage rifle??? ...or a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun that has never been fired???

I am going to be in Waco tomorrow morning.

I had a Glock 19 up yesterday and today. That is why I am in Waco tomorrow... to deliver the 19 I sold here today.

tbmccord - sorry I missed you. I'm more interested in a handgun for handgun deal.

Well, I only have 23 of them...

something just came to mind. I do have one revolver that you may be interested in. This is no ordinary revolver. It is the Smith and Wesson 442 Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) commemorative. It is the Heller vs. DC decision commemorative that S&W made and gave to key members of the legal team and plaintiffs.

This pistol is new in the box (Not "Like new in box") and has been in my humidity controlled safe for about a year.

That is a nice revolver, but I don't believe in safe queens. I also couldn't bring myself to shoot that gun.

No problem tbmccord. I know I'm picky. I just wish I had caught you before you found a new owner for your Glock 19. I guess it comes from the fact that I don't NEED anything. I've got a couple of good full-size handguns, a good mid-size and a great subcompact. Eventually, I hopefully will find what I'm looking for.

XD is gone. Traded it today at the first decent gun show I've been to in awhile. Got me an HK USPc .40 to break in now!
