WTS/WTT - Colt Officer's ACP (OH) SOLD!
Doing a feeler at the moment, going over the inventory and looking at the least carried guns. If somebody really wants this and has cash in hand, we'll make something happen. I'll be able to get more pictures in a day or two.
The least carried one that I have is a mid 90's production Colt Officer's ACP with an 80 series action. While the slide says 1991, it is a 1911 officer's model, Colt had a little marketing deal back then and that was part of their shindig.
I bought it used, so total round count is unknown, however I have put less than 600 rounds down the tube. I had the gunsmith at work fit a Wilson Combat high ride beavertail, and I dropped in an STI trigger that's adjustable for overtravel and pretravel. It also has a Wilson Combat slide stop installed. It does not have an ambi safety. The below pictures show the STI trigger. It has been fitted with a new Wolff standard weight recoil spring (single spring now, not dual) along with a reverse plug with a huge flange that will prevent it from ever shearing off the lug and going downrange on you.
The finish is pretty good, but there is minor holster wear and finish wear on the thumb safety from using it. The only thing I can recall that's missing if you will is the white dot on the front sight. I've never used the dots, so it never effected me, but it's a standard stake in front sight if it bothers you.
Only partial trades off the top of my head would be an AK (7.62x39 or 5.45x39) or an Armalite 180B (uses standard AR15 mags). Willing to consider all offers and trades, so feel free to toss something my way - you won't hurt my feelings. Asking price is $700 with two mags, case, and factory paperwork. Offers are always entertained, but the buyer/trader must be a valid Ohio CHL holder. Located in SW Ohio, willing to travel about an hour from Cincinnati, OH.
