I wish I would have known yesterday. I stopped at Cabelas and they actually had a pretty good selection of all handgun ammo.

For some reason, .380 ACP is one caliber that is more scarce than most others. So much so that Remington 95 gr. FMJ is going on Gunbroker for $120 shipped ($89.99 + $29.99 shipping) for two 50 round boxes.

I have a small stockpile and can spare some for you at a much lower price. I can let you have 100 rounds of Federal American Eagle 95 gr. FMJ for $75 shipped... or, I can let you have 100 rounds of Remington 88 gr. JHP for $85 shipped... or I will get both to you for $150.

At this moment, Cabela's shows Corbon JHP in stock at $20.99 per box of 20.

At $20.99 and $5 shipping, not even considering what tax you would pay at Cabelas, that is $1.30 per round. I am offering $0.75 per round for FMJ and $0.85 for JHP or a combined $0.75 per round for both.

I appreciate it but it's hard to pay that kind of money when I just paid 14.99 for 50 FMJ. I guess I thought there might be someone who had a load and could use some 40 or 45.

No problem... sooner or later I would have to replace that ammo. The way things are going, I would be losing money on the deal. I tried.

Also, I don't know if you have ever shipped ammo before but it has to go UPS ground with "ORM-D" "Small arms cartridges" stickers. $14.00 is the absolute lowest I have paid to ship ammo... ever.

Maybe you'll luck out and find someone that no longer has a .380 firearm. That would be your best situation.

Seems like I'm always in the market for Glock magazines. I have a 100ct box of 95gr WWB FMJ and I'm wanting G23 or G26 mags right now.

Thanks Ram Rod, I have G30, G27 and probably G22 mags but no G23 or G26.

I'll stop shooting .380 for the rest of my life before I'll pay some of the prices some folks are charging for it. Sometimes its just a down right shame to see how some folks will complain about companies gouging and then do it themselves. I've seen some of the ammo being auctioned out there and some folks really ought to be ashamed of themselves. But I gess its the old supply and demand but like I said, I'll be done with .380 before I pay it.

.380 is the rage right now with all the LCP's and such being sold but it's a shame because a whole lot of people are stocking up on a very ineffective caliber.

I have a box of 100 Remington JHP (missing 6 cartridges) that I'm willing to part with. The reason is, every second or third shot was a failure to chamber. This was with my Ruger LCP which has historically had problems with that brand of ammo (which I learned unfortunately AFTER I bought it).

If you can use this knowing the problems let me know and we can go from there. :)
