    Exclamation VCDL -- 1 July Dinners Celebrations!!

    For those in Virginia (residents or traveler) on July 1st you are welcome to join us.

    I had tried to put together a group in SWVA -- somewhere between Abingdon and Bristol or even between Wytheville and Abingdon. However, not enough folk contacted me.

    So, I'll be going to one in Vinton [that's in the Roanoke area, for those out of the area].

    If you want to join VCDL anywhere around the State please follow the instructions below.

    Time to RSVP for July 1st celebrations!

    We have booked restaurants in the following locations for VCDL's July
    1st celebration of the new restaurant carry law (concealed allowed,
    but no consumption of alcoholic beverages):

    Charlottesville
    Norfolk
    Reston
    Richmond
    Vinton
    Woodbridge
    Yorktown

    Celebrations will begin at 7 PM. Restaurant details will be provided
    as we get closer to July 1st.

    For now we just need a head count.

    To RSVP, send an email to president@vcdl.org with a SUBJECT LINE of
    the city where you will be attending, a dash, and the number in your
    party, like this:

    In the email text, put your full name.

    Current July 1st restaurant RSVP counts

    Well, the game is on. Here are the latest RSVP counts for the
    restaurants where we will be celebrating the repeal of the restaurant
    ban on July 1st:

    Norfolk (86)
    Richmond (65)
    Woodbridge (46)
    Reston (42)
    Vinton/Roanoke/Salem (36)
    Charlottesville (25)
    Yorktown (23)

    The location with the most RSVPs by June 28th will get a hand-
    delivered celebratory cake.

    To RSVP, if you HAVEN'T already done so: reply to this alert,
    changing the subject line to the city where you will be attending the
    celebration and the number in your party, like this:
