VCDL Pot Luck Picnic in Salem

There will be a "pot luck" family picnic at Longwood Park in Salem for all VCDL members and guests on September 25, 2010.
Early birds will start arriving at 10:00 AM, and food will be served starting
    at 11:00.
VCDL will furnish soft drinks, plates, napkins and utensils.
Members are requested to bring a dish with enough extra to help feed a few more. Out of town guests--please do not try to bring anything that will spill or cause you problems in transport.
We do NOT plan on cooking anything at the picnic.
Please RSVP to: Al Steed Jr. at:
    al@vcdl.org
so we can plan on having enough "stuff" to provide for everyone.
Anyone who wants to donate items to be used as drawing prizes please also contact Al.
Put this special day on your schedule!

Thanks for posting Dave. I'll try to make it to one or the other. Been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot for several weeks and it's difficult to walk far or be on my feet for long. The picnic in Salem might be more doable for me (and I'm hoping this is better by then, but who knows). I'll call you one day next week and we can meet for lunch.
