hmmm, I've often thought of shooting my old TV, just to break it into smaller pieces to I don't have to pay to properly dispose of it, lol.
Where in OH is this? (not that I'm going to go there with my TV)

Garrettville I believe. It sounds like an ok place. My cousin described it to me, and as his description sunk in it left me a little concerned. I don't feel like getting shot when I go to the range.

To answer your question, it has been quite a while, but I have spent a lot of time there in the past. Al & Ann Spolarich run a nice range. The rifle/handgun ranges are behind the shotgun ranges. They have a handgun length range of about 75 yards, an indoor handgun range and a 200 yard rifle range. There are also a couple of specialized ranges that are not routinely available.

Regarding bringing scrap to shoot, people did it and the ranges took on a crappy look quickly. Plan on sticking to paper or steel. In the past there was a single steel plate on the 200 and a plate rack on the pistol, IIRC. You can bring your own steel and stands, if you prefer.

There were no ROs on the outdoor ranges, so people took advantage of the situation and for the few dollars an hour abused the facility. Al took to selling memberships so people would have a stake in keeping the place clean.

It is located on Fenstermaker Rd off of Route 422.
