Hunting in Georgia
I've been living in GA for a little over a year now, and probably won't be living here much more than another year. I'd really like to get some hunting done here before I leave, but don't really have any connections to help out with that, as I'm pretty much clueless on most things hunting. Is there anybody in this state that can help me out? I'm looking to do any kind of hunting there is.
Thanks in advance.

I know we're not supposed to promote other forums, but you are really in the wrong place. This forum is for self and home defense issues.
Try:
forum.gon.com/ or
www.deeranddeerhunting.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=33 or
Georgia Hunting
Any of the above will be of more help to you than we can be.
Good luck.

I've done some checking and contrary to what Senator Feinstein says, you cannot hunt people with 30-round magazines, even in Georgia.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Yes, I realize what this forum is about. I also know that I posted this in a separate subforum called "Member Meeting Place" with the description "This area is an area where members can discuss state & local specific topics, training, ranges, events or meet other members. This area should not be used for topics of interest to the general membership.
Thanks for the extra links. Good stuff there.
