I'll be headed out west for Easter and I'm looking for somewhere to go plinking. I've been to the Scottsdale Gun Club and while it is a very nice facility it's a little over the top if all I'm looking to do is have some fun with family (my brother and dad). They don't shoot much so they aren't "in the know" about any other ranges in the area. I have read that you can shoot on "Public Land" and if someone can point me in the right direction in the Scottsdale area I would be much obliged.
