Anyone in Toronto?
We're heading up there in a few hours for the weekend. I don't know much about Firearms Laws in Canada, but I know enough to know NOT TO BRING ANYTHING into the country.
Don't suppose any of y'all know of a shooting range up there though?
I have 3 full days of Comic Book Convention (Nerd Herd) coming up. Would be nice to be able to duck out and shoot something. Otherwise, I'm liable to knock out the first guy who attempts to accost me with "free hugs." Have you seen these freaks yet? They walk around with a sign that says "free hugs" and somehow that makes it ok to touch a woman without her consent?
PLEASE tell me where to go shooting?
Or possibly post my bail? :)
Don't frisk me, I am the weapon.

Enjoy your time in Toronto.
Personally, I'd forget about shooting while you're up here. You have access to bigger and better toys while you're back home. Ditch the GeekFest and do some 'sploring. Check out the CN Tower etc.
A couple of places to have a look at before you go are.......
CBCNews.ca - Breaking News, Canada, World, Health, Business, Entertainment
and
CTV.ca | CTV News, Shows and Sports - Canadian Television
That'll give you a taste of what's going on up here.
BTW, the mayor of Toronto is VERY anti-gun. His "brilliant" idea of cutting down on gun violence (Toronto does have a problem in this department) is to close down the local ranges.
Try not to seethe to much when reading this..........
Taking aim at gun clubs
Toronto mayor wants to shut down gun clubs
BTW be sure to be wearing your NRA hat when going through Customs and Immigration. You mught get to see the "special" room!

It's cool. The show owner stole my NRA hat (but I get to meet Bruce Campbell tomorrow morning, so I'd say it's a fair trade) and they have that 22mm Hellboy gun over here with some of the props.
I can't wait to get home though. Goin' shootin' early Monday. My trigger finger's getting itchy up here! :)
