I live in NE Houston, and was wondering if there was anyone else here from the area. Also, what ranges do you suggest?
Oh, and do you know of any ranges that will rent guns? I'd like to rent some for my g/f before buying her one.
Also, if you need a "range buddy", I'm usually down for some range time.

There are two around FM1960 that come to mind, and I like them both.
Carter's Country is a very nice outdoor range for both pistol and rifle shooting.

The other is Sportsman's Outlet which has a decent indoor pistol range.

Took the family out to Carter's in Spring and really liked it. Aside from crowded parking lot. Not their fault though, it was a beautiful day.

Yep, I do the majority of my shooting at Carter's as it is the closest range to my house.
