TheRallyPoint in PA- Saturday June 10th
And invite for CombatCarry.com members to
TheRallyPoint
Sponsored by : www.concealedcarrymagazine.com and www.woolrichelite.com
Date: Saturday June 10, 2006
Place: www.lrgc.org in Southeaster Pennyslvania (just North of Philadelphia)
Time: 9am-5pm
Rally Point events and socializing will be going on at the:
Pistol range: 15yds-25yd
Pistol/rifle range: 50yd
Big Bore rifle range 100yd-200yds
2 fields for shooting trap
Food and drinks will be available.
For Directions http://www.lrgc.org/html/location.html
Admission is $15
www.therallypoint.org events tend to be informal, and there will be plenty of time to socialize, but since the www.lrgc.org is very big, we decided to join forces with http://www.rwva.org/ to further our cause. We will be having a Mini-Appleseed MiniAppleseed
Training: NRA Certified Firearms instructors will be available to instruct new shooters. If you have friends or family members that want to learn how to handle a firearm, please help further our cause and invite them to come out. This is a family friendly event which I've even invited my own mother to!
Competitions: Kalishnikov competition
Scoped Rifle / DMR Competition – to honor Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock.
Theme: Firearms from the Vietnam era. If you got something interesting to bring out please let us know what you're bringing. We will be designating a table at the 100yd-200yd tables for displaying a few pieces of history.
People from all of the most popular gun boards will be there.
p.s. I would appreciate it if people would post that they are coming so we can get an approximate number of people coming for food and event planning. Rain or shine we will be there. Last minute decisions are ok.

Shucks Jamie I had missed this post other day.
That said in fact I could not make it anyways as the coming w/e schedule is way too full already - the problem being deciding what can be done and what has to go by wayside. Classic summer problem!
The invite tho is much appreciated and I know I will be missing seeing some good old friends there. I hope you or others will take some pics of the day and maybe you could let me see those later. Perhaps a link to any thread wherever you post the after action report.

Would love to come
I'd be there in a minute if I could snag the time off; but, we're down 3 Officers now with plenty of prior approved vacations. My son lives in the area, so it'd be extra nice.

I shall.
Chris,
You really need to find me a range out your way for a TRP shoots(inlcudes members from the best gun boards out there). Since CombatCarry is hands down the best conceal carry discussion forum, and I've got some good Concealed Carry sponsors signed on, it would be nice to host a TRP shoot out your way. Put out the word and find me a range for Sept or October. I need about 6-8weeks to put one of these together. I noticed there are a few Staff members in the PA/OH region. If I known far enough ahead, I can see if I can get Mike shovel from Cor-bon to come out to a TRP shoot again. Corbon ballistics testing
Let's do it!!!!!
p.s. May do a TRP shoot in AZ, UT and SC in the next year.
