There are several indoor ranges in the metro area. I know of several in Gwinnett County, but I rarely get over into Cobb.

    Where to apply?

I've been thinking about this for a while, but the Silver Comet incident pushed me over the edge. I have experience with guns, but will likely do some time at a range, etc. to brush up. I want to apply for the CCP -- do I do that at my county courthouse? The Sheriff's office? My city police office?

    Thoughts?

The application should be done at the probate court. You will also have to submit fingerprints for a background check. They should give you instructions at the court office.

I live in Dallas and have been doing similar research. Haven't found any that are "close" to us or doesn't require re-mortgaging the house to pay for dues.

Let me know if you find something though.

P.S. If you want to know about shooting ranges, I can give you some info there. But your original post asked for shooting clubs. Don't want to wander off what you were originally looking for.
