    Hello from VERMONT!

Hello and greetings from the great State of Vermont! You know, the beautiful place just north of Taxachusetts, the home of The Green Mountain Boys, where we have next to zero violent crime, and where any non-felon can carry whatever they want, however they want, and (almost) wherever they want. Come on up for a visit, bring your guns, and do what you want in Vermont!
I know what you're thinking: "Did he fire six shots or only five?" "Is that a Smith & Wesson 686+ 7 shot or 627 8 shot?" "Does he have a concealed Sig P226 SCT and two spare mags?" You've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

Hi from Delaware. The gun laws you have in VT are probably the very reason that the crime rate is so low.

Live and work in Southwestern Vermont, near Manchester, less that an hour to Brattleboro. Southern Vermont is a great place to live, beautiful and low crime. Four very different seasons, and you're within 4 hours of Boston, NYC, and Montreal, Long Island Sound, the mountains of Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Upstate New York, the New England coast and lots of open land, state parks, national forrests, and interesting small towns in between.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Not to mention some awesome backroads.

You just have to get used to putting your motorcycle away for the winter.

.....or dress warm and get some studded tires. Snowmobiles are our winter motorcycle. Vermont has more mile of groomed / maintained snowmobile trails than it does paved roads. For the enduro / adventure motorcyle rider there's some routes from the Massachusetts border to the Canadian border that are completely dirt, only a few paved roads to cross.
