    Hello from Michigan

    Hello, everyone!

    Just registered and from what I see so far, I think I like this site. I live in central Michigan, 20 miles or so from Lansing, and am looking forward to being part of the discussions here.

    I am former Air Force (a long time ago...1973-1977), and spent 4 years "defending" the Hawaiian Islands from a repeat attack while stationed at Hickam AFB, just outside Honolulu.

    (I know...it was brave of me, but it was a job that had to be done)

    But seriously, I am looking forward to the valuable insights you folks have to offer. Who knows, it's a long shot, but I might even have one of my own from time to time...

    Actually, I found the Mai-Tai's to be much more dangerous....they would sneak up on you!!
