    New member from East Tennessee

Greetings! New member here from upper East TN. Have been checking out the forum for a couple of weeks, and finally decided to join up. I have been a firearms enthusiast for a number of years, collecting, hunting, and target shooting, but have only recently become interested in concealed carry. My wife and I have done our research, and have settled on our initial carry choices (Kel-Tec PF9 for me, and Ruger LCR for her), and hope to take our handgun carry permit class very soon. I have learned a lot already from this site, and I look forward to participating in the future.

Oh, I like the P3AT also, but went with the PF9 for two reasons:

    1. I have very large hands, and the PF9 just seemed to kit my big mitts better than the P3AT, and

    2. I already own three other 9mm pistols, so it made sense to go with a common caliber (especially since .380 ammunition is as rare as a lemming's parachute around here right now).

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
