New Guy From SC
Great to find a site with others who have the same interests. I live in York, SC, transplanted from Mass, but please don't hold that against me. Sounds like a really long time, but have been shooting at paper for over 50 years, except for some Army time. Got out of the sport for the years the kids were growing, but in the last few years, found my sight is a lot weaker then when I was young, but still having fun. Besides shooting, I'm also involved with a company called Goodguys, a hot rod & custom company that puts on car shows around the country, I am a rep for SC. Do a lot of metal detecting relic hunting., bass fishing and bought a 5th wheel camper for traveling. Retirement is good!! I have a quick question and hopefully someone has an answer. I just bought a Kel-Tec 2000 9mm carbine. Shoots great, but does that trigger feel like I'm squeezing a piece of rubber. Has anyone found a solution, does anyone out there sell a real trigger, has anyone made a copy in metal?? With advanced age and week eyes, I modified a rail for the grip to mount a Red Dot. If nothing is available on the market, I have modified a couple of my other guns, I guess I could make something for the 2000. Any help?? Thanks in advance and hope to talk to other members here on line.

Welcome from York, SC...
It's a small world
ETA: You can shoot the Kel-Tec 2000 at Sportsman's indoor range in Newport, as they allow carbines that shoot center fire pistol ammunition.

....that's actually where I do most of my shooting, and I bought the gun from Mark. It's my third gun from them, great people. Also have a 100 yard set up. My neighbor's father has 62 acres just outside of RockHill, we set one up there.

Took my CWP in the small classroom outside of the back range and NRA instructors Dewayne and Elizabeth Saunders do an excellent job. I buy most of my firearms from Sportsman or Nichols Store in Rock Hill but Nichols doesn't have quite the selection as Sportsman dose.

Welcome from Alabama.
If you haven't already done so try posting your trigger question in the Defensive Rifles and Shotguns Forum. You should get answers pretty quickly there.
