    'Nother Noob here...looks like this is the place!

    Hi everyone.
    I found this place because although I have my CHL, the only handgun I currently own is the first one I ever owned, er, PURCHASED, when I turned 21: Taurus 92F 9mm...and the thing is a brick. I weighed it with a spare loaded magazine...almost 3.5 lbs.!
    I have a friend who has a baby glock 33, and I LOVED shooting it...and know I need to go subcompact to effectively carry, especially here in 100 degree Texas summers. This got me looking online at these Glocks, and searching for OTHER .357sig chambered subcompacts, then realized the prices were going UP as I browsed pistols like the Sig P250!
    Then the realization that it may be hard to find a Lefty holster for these small pistols brought me here, and I liked the lurker message at the header, so I thought I'd sign up! I know...TMI. Anyway, I look forward to the forum's expertise and knowledge set, and hopefully when I save enough pennies to actually buy a new carry pistol, I'll make an informed decision. Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to a great forum. If you're looking at GLOCKS for a reliable carry gun you need not look further. I can't say much about the .357 sig round, I'm a 9mm fan, but consider ammo availability and price, you'll want to practice a lot.
