Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.

    Good to have you....and WELCOME!
You don't need a gunsmith to apply lube in certain places. Gunsmiths get a little bit deeper than that. If it were so simple, you wouldn't need a gunsmith. Best of luck.

    Thanks for the welcome.

I am hesitant to do to it what I am used to doing to my other Smiths. Those have removable screws to access the innards. The Bodyguard has no frame screws, but rather, is held together by pins. The grips don't even come off- they're pinned in place.

Dry-firing it helped a little, and what bits could be access through the frame with the cylinder open were treated to WS2, and dry-fired to work it in. (WS2 is like moly, but finer) Just wish I could apply it to the components inside the grip. Not obsessed over it though- I won't be putting hundreds of rounds a month through it.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
