    Howdy from Motown!

    Greetings everyone,
    I've been lurking here for the last several months cruising and reading all over the forum. Just a bit of background. I've been a private detective working the mean streets of Motown and SE Michigan since about 2002. In all that time, I've never owned and/or carried a weapon. Using only my wits to get by. Many of my friends and co-workers wonder why I haven't but the middle of this month, I plan to take my CPL class while I shop for a suitable gun. I've been rattling the idea around the head of my wife and she seems mildly interested but i'm not going to push it until she's ready (she's in school and working full time so she's got a lot on her plate but I want her safe when she walks back to her car at night after class and I can't be there. I'm looking forward to getting to know the veteran posters and newcomers and to continue to take it all in. :)
