New Member (Moving to Houston, TX)
Hi! I am new to this forum. I was directed here a friend from another site who said this is the place to get information on concealed carry. I have kept my user name and avatar the same, so some may *recognize* me.
I currently live in IL where concealed carry is not permitted and will be moving to Houston TX where we will be able to enjoy the responsibility of CHL.
I currently enjoy going to the range for target practice with my 9mm, .38 Special, and .22lr. I am not an expert, and enjoy hearing others perspective.
A little about me personally: late 30's married female, cardiovascular RN, with three kids (14, 11, & 10).

RN...welcome to DC.
Glad to hear your moving to a state that will allow you to exercise your 2nd amendment freedoms.
I was in Houston all last week on business, and as usual traffic was a mess.

Why hello there from South Texas. You are going to love Texas....things are different hear.
Remember as a rule of thumb in defensive carry...your intention is always to STOP....not to hurt, however; in a gun fight, its either me or them.....and Im sure as hell that it will NOT be me.
