Hey Guys, Greetings from Behind the Iron Curtain

Greetings from New York and hello to all my gun lovers in places where the Constitution is repected, ie America.

Anyway, I am a bitter New York gun lover applying for my CCW in NYC though I live just outside the city. Next to impossible I know, but I need it.

I'm a family man, pushing 30, have a little boy and a great wife, great parents, hard working folks and now I run their business (hence the gun need) I have a passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and hold a blue belt in the style, and have a new passion for guns, esp. WWII guns as my dad is a WWII vet (Purple Heart, Bronze Star, landed on Omaha Beach) and I also love anything new in the handgun world.

Welcome to the forum, and your uphill battle with NYC for your CCW. It's a shame the city officials are living in the Stone Age.

    Welcome from South Carolina...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
