    Talking NEWBIE Alert

    Hello to all the members of "DefensiveCarry.com".

    My name is Robert and Im currently on active duty in the United States Navy at San Diego, CA. I am also 25 years old, married, with no children. I am originally from San Jose, CA where I was raised, but was born in Bethesda, MD because I myself was a military brat. I currently have H&K USP .40 Compact that I love to death, but ammo starting burning a whole in my pocket which in turn persuaded me to by a Ruger SR9c 9mm.

    I will try not to ask questions I can probably find the answers to, but if I do please forgive me.

    Welcome to the gaggle from a retired Army guy. Yes, ammo is always going up so when you can, buy in bulk and save. I know, that's easier said than done.
    Say, is the Mira Mar Exchange still selling guns?

    Yeah I do buy in bulk... I just bought "9mm 9x19 Ammo 115gr FMJ New Military Contract Overrun 1000 Rounds for $189.00 x (3)" from "http://www.ammunitionstore.com/"... To tell you the truth Ive been in San Diego now almost 3 years and Ive been to Miramar, but have never shopped in the exchange... I know for sure that the San Diego, Coronado, and Point Loma Exchanges dont... =0(
