    Hello from Tennessee!

    I ran across this site while looking up different holsters. My dad and I normally bond over antique cars. Last week, we decided to start bonding over guns too, I guess. We're getting our TN carry permits this weekend and we picked out a pair of revolvers last weekend. I got a S&W 642 and he ended up with a Taurus.. I forget the model, but it's almost identical to mine... his is heavier. /shrug

    We've gone to my grandparents' property twice this week to let me shoot some wood blocks and get used to actually firing it. I never thought I'd actually enjoy shooting a gun, but it's surprisingly fun! Now I know what my cousins were raving about when we were kids. They've been shooting for years.

    I hope I can pick up lots of good advice from this site! I've already gotten some!
