    New kid from central Iowa

    I've been lurking around here for a while and figured I would take my boots off and stay a while. I purchased my first guy yesterday. Kimber Custom II. I'm taking a handgun safety class next weekend to appease the sheriff. He didn't like to give out permits. But things have changed. I have much to learn before making a trip to Wally World though. I attached a pic of the Kimber and of my other costly interest. 2004 Buell Lightning XB12s. There have been several occasions on the bike that I wish I had been carrying.

    Good. You got any interest in getting into IDPA or other competition shooting? There's a USPA club in Ames and an IDPA club in Boone, I usually shoot IDPA in Trear but have been meaning to come down for a Boone match for a while.
