    Hello from texas!

I ran across this forum by accident and have really enjoyed it. I am an avid long distance shooter and have carried concealed for decades. Non LEO,just a simple civilian looking to protect my family. I think i am riding the fine line between over prepared and paranoid. I train often.

Thanks to everyone for the very informative post.

Welcome from South Carolina...I'm not sure if there is such a thing as "over prepared"!!!
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

If you have never broken your gun or bled on your gun in training, you're doing it wrong!
