The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Welcome from Kansas! Sounds like you've done a great job with your family. Wishing all the good people of Illinois some positive progress on gun rights and soon. After they extract the Loch Ness monster from the ice in hell you've still got taxes, corrupt politicians, and other stuff to get fixed. Seriously I wish ya'll the best of luck in working to make good changes in Illinois. The alternative is to move to a free state. If you can uproot your family, leave a familiar place, sell your home, make a career change, and find an affordable place to live without going mad. I used to suggest moving but I realized how big of hassle it is, but then again bringing sanity to Illinois might be more of a hassle. Play the lottery it might be your best chance of escaping.
